We are a small kennel located in Brampton Ontario Canada.  

 

     We train and compete with our dogs in Conformation, Obedience and Hunt Tests. But Chessies as they are called by their owners are capable of almost anything you can think of. From drug and bomb detection to dock diving. And most important as a family pet. They need a family to belong to . You will never find another breed as Loyal, Protective and Attentive to children as this one. They are Not an attack dog! But they will stand their ground when confronted by danger.   

 

     For hunting they have no equal for versatility as a bird dog. From Woodcock and Grouse to an ice breaking fool for Ducks and Geese. They are Intense!

 

     Like any other dog they need training and lots of socialization. They don't come ready made. You get back what you invest in anything and they need their owners to invest in them or the end result is an antisocial pet with bad habits. All my dogs greet everyone, human and animal as a friend and possible playmate.

 

     Don't listen to the old wives tales that tell you that you need a 2x4 or big stick to train a Chessie. They are actually very soft and intelligent with the ability to think and reason many problems. Show them what you want in a way they understand and they will move the world for you.

 

     We are dedicated to producing Sound, Happy and Healthy animals that will be a member of your family for many years. All our breeding animals are health tested and results are published on the OFFA website.
